100% Handmade
The violin Shehada crafts is made from high-quality European maple wood for the back of the violin, the ribs, and the neck. The face wood is made of Italian spruce from the Alps region, from which the well-known makers of violin were, such as Strad and Gornie (Fiemme Valley).
70 years old wood
The fingerboard is made of African ebony wood. The wood that’s used is more than 70 years old.
The varnish that’s used is oil varnish that’s locally made and it’s Amber.
International Recognition
Shalalda, who is one of few instrument makers Palestine, achieved international fame after participating in a violin making competition in Cremona, Italy.
Shalalda exhibited his violins internationally in Paris, London and New York.
Regional Appreciation
Musicians in Jordan appreciate Shalalda, including violinist Abd al-Rahim Dukhan, who was introduced to this violin by a fellow Jordanian orchestra.
